Eddie met up with singer/songwriter, Stan Mann and began playing worship covers as well as working on some originals. When Eddie's brother, Aaron, joined the band, it was the perfect fit. All they needed was a bass player - and in came Eddie "Pops" Sr. once again. They named the band Chasing Superman and played shows from northern Ohio to Pigeon Forge, Tennesee.
It was while playing drums for Chasing Superman that Eddie first had the idea of playing guitar and fronting a band of his own.
After a three year stint, Eddie left Chasing Superman and worked with various artists until he came across a community church he loved. Here he became the Worship Minister who directed all of the music, while still playing the drums. During a change in the churches service format, Eddie began to study guitar and play during Saturday night services. As God blessed his ability to learn, Eddie grew quickly. It was only a little over a year later that he was playing guitar every week at church.
Songwriting has been a part of Eddie since he was a little boy but with this new opportunity at church, he could develop this gift even more. Within the next year, the congregation had come to love his worship songs.
Right now Eddie is studying voice with Jesse Nemitz, an instructor at Brett Manning's Singing Success. He is working hard on putting everything together and letting God continue to open doors for him. He plans on continuing to travel in '09, playing at other churches, festivals, and events while still leading worship at his home church.
